Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Beat until creamy, then add eggs one at a time and mix well. Finish with vanilla extract.

  4. Fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for topping if desired.
