Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs crushed
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
Topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberry glaze for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush graham crackers in a bowl; mix in melted butter.
  3. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  4. Cool completely before adding filling.
  5. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest.
  6. Pour the creamy filling over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  8. Turn off oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for an hour.
  9. Chill in refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  10. Top with sliced strawberries and drizzle with warm strawberry glaze.
  11. Remove sides of the springform pan and serve.
