Ingredients

For the Fruit Base
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries Use ripe strawberries for the best natural sweetness; frozen can work too if fresh aren’t available.
  • 2 tablespoons Acai Powder This nutrient powerhouse offers a deep berry flavor; substitute with blueberry or pomegranate powder if preferred.
For the Liquid Components
  • 1 cup White Grape Juice Balances the acidity and sweetness; mix with other fruit juices like apple or peach for a flavorful twist.
  • 1 cup Water Adjusts the consistency to your liking; very important for achieving the drink’s perfect texture.
  • 1-2 cups Green Tea or Coffee Adds a refreshing base; try lemonade or coconut water for an interesting flavor variation.
For Enhancements
  • 1 cup Ice Cubes Essential for serving chilled; skip if you prefer a more room temperature drink.
  • to taste Sweetener Customize the sweetness to your taste with honey, agave, or simple syrup, starting with a small amount.

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Fine Sieve
  • large pitcher

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brew either green tea or coffee using approximately 1 to 2 cups of water. Allow it to steep for 5 to 7 minutes, then cool to room temperature and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or ideally overnight.
  2. Wash and halve a cup of fresh strawberries, then blend with 1 cup of water on high for about 30 seconds. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl and set aside.
  3. Combine 2 tablespoons of acai powder with ½ cup of water in a separate bowl and whisk vigorously for about 1 to 2 minutes until dissolved.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the silky strawberry juice, acai-infused water, and chilled green tea or coffee. Add 1 cup of white grape juice and stir gently for about 30 seconds.
  5. To achieve your desired texture, pour in an additional cup of water, mixing well. If you like it extra cold, add a handful of ice cubes and taste to adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Pour the refresher into tall glasses and garnish with fresh strawberry slices. Serve immediately, optionally adding a sprig of mint for enhanced aroma.
