Step-by-Step Instructions for Walking Taco Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Add the chopped onions and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
- Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, add about 1/4 cup of water, and bring to a gentle boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Lower the heat and mix in the black beans and diced tomatoes with green chiles; simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and gently stir in the sour cream until well combined.
